Gorgeous Ladies We Love: Kathy Griffin Heads To Broadway

Kathy Griffin Wants A Tony

Is KATHY GRIFFIN trying to scoop TRACY JORDAN’s EGOT out from under him?  The precious EGOT is the Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony quadfecta (Word existence? It is now!) and it’s been sought after by 30 Rock‘s Tracy Jordan for a couple years now, since only 12 performers have ever received all four awards. (One of whom is G.L.O.C. role model LIZA MINELLI. Love you, girl!) Kathy Griffin already has an Emmy, she’s been nominated for a Grammy, and she’s bringing her newest show, subtly titled Kathy Griffin Wants A Tony, to Broadway in March. So yes, her Oscar is still a long shot, but if ROBIN WILLIAMS can get one after being known as Mork from Ork, honestly, nothing is impossible in Hollywood and Griffin may be well on her way to EGOT status. BTW, what do you think the odds are that they’ll be serving boxed wine at this show?

For tickets and more info about the show, which runs March 11-19, 2011, check out Griffin’s website.
